The Pre School in The Methodist Chapel (Rosemary Morgan)

Mrs Ann Martin of Leet Hill, Kirby Cane, retired as Chairman of Kirby Cane and Ellingham Playgroup, in 1987, which had she set up in 1959. As a member of the Women's Royal  Voluntary Service she helped set up playgroups in Loddon, Burgh St Peter, and Ditchingham and was area organiser and adviser. Her husband, Mervyn, also retired as South Norfolk District Councillor, after 27 years.
